Who can claim
People placed in separate confinement or segregation in BC correctional centres between April 18, 2005 and October 22, 2025 for 15+ consecutive days, or while meeting mental-illness criteria, may qualify.

Does it cost anything to receive settlement money?
No. A court-approved settlement administrator does not charge class members a filing or payment-release fee. The court reviews class counsel fees separately.
What records should I keep after filing?
Save a copy of the submitted form, the confirmation page or email, the claim number, and every supporting file you provided. Keep later administrator emails with those records until the payment arrives or the claim receives a final decision.
