Canadian Packaged Bread Price-Fixing Settlement

$500M settlement over alleged industry-wide packaged-bread price fixing. Claims closed December 12, 2025, and the official administrator says approved payments began the week of May 11, 2026 by Interac e-Transfer or cheque.

Eligible residents of Canada outside Quebec who bought qualifying packaged bread for personal use between 2001 and 2021 and submitted a claim before the deadline. Quebec uses a separate settlement site.
