Canooq MCP server

Use the public Model Context Protocol endpoint for Canadian finance workflows, calculator tools and resource retrieval:

https://mcp.canooq.ca/mcp

Configure this URL in a client that supports remote MCP over HTTP. The service accepts stateless JSON-RPC requests by POST; opening the URL in a browser returns 405. No bearer token is required by this public endpoint.

Initialize the MCP connection, discover the available tools with tools/list, then load get_finance_workflow before answering a Canadian money question. Use the published tool input schemas and supply the user’s actual inputs.

curl https://mcp.canooq.ca/mcp \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -H 'Accept: application/json, text/event-stream' \
  --data '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"initialize","params":{"protocolVersion":"2025-03-26","capabilities":{},"clientInfo":{"name":"canooq-client","version":"1.0.0"}}}'

Read Canooq as Markdown

Request Accept: text/markdown on the homepage or a supported page URL. Check the response Content-Type: pages outside Markdown coverage continue to serve HTML. The Canooq agent index lists navigation hubs, individual resources and their explicit Markdown alternatives.

Start with the agent navigation instructions, then choose the tools directory, templates directory or newcomer tasks. Each hub explains its purpose and links onward to resources and the rest of the website.

Markdown describes a tool and its inputs; it does not run a form or produce a personalized result. Request Accept: text/html for interactive controls and supported downloads. Use MCP only for capabilities returned by tools/list. Cite the canonical website URL recorded in the Markdown and preserve linked primary sources.

curl -i -H 'Accept: text/markdown' https://www.canooq.ca/
curl -i -H 'Accept: text/markdown' https://www.canooq.ca/tools
curl -i https://www.canooq.ca/markdown/templates
curl -i -H 'Accept: text/html' https://www.canooq.ca/tools
curl -i -H 'Accept: text/markdown' https://www.canooq.ca/__missing-page

Unmatched public paths return HTTP 404 with a Markdown explanation and recovery links when Markdown is preferred. A missing record inside an existing HTML route may still return that route’s HTML 404. Keep source links, effective dates, eligibility rules and offer deadlines when using published content.
